Synopsis

On war is one of the most important, influential and controversial political strategies ever written which has been published after the death of the Author.  Carl Philipp Gottfried, a military theorist could not finish writing this political-military analysis during his lifetime and died without completing this work.  It has been published by his wife Marie von Brühl after his death. War is not only a political act, but an instrument which is to be used not only to disarm the enemy but make them military impotent and politically helpless. War should be a continuation of political commerce which till tend to favour the party with stronger emotional and political motivations.
