Wild Animals I Have Known is a children’s book which narrates the real stories of wild animals written by Ernest Thompson Seton, a British writer who is credited as one of the founding pioneers of Boy Scouts of America.  Among his numerous writings on nature and animals notable are The Birch Bark Roll, The Boy Scout Handbook, The Forester's Manual, The Arctic Prairies, The Slum Cat, and Wild Animals At Home.

This book narrates the stories of the wild animals with chapters titled as Lobo, The king of currumpaw;  Silverspot, The story of a Crow; Raggylug, The story of a Cottontail Rabbit; Bingo, The story of a Dog; Wully, The story of a Yaller Dog; and Redruff, The story of the Don Valley Partridge.
