Synopsis

Far from the Madding Crowd is classic novel written by Thomas Hardy which narrates the story of Gabriel Oak and Bathsheba Everdene in the sets of a country side farm.  Gabriel Oak who owns a sheep farm falls in love with Bathsheba Everdene, who found her shelters with her aunt Mrs Hurst who works in Gabriel's farm.  Bathsheba who gives more importance to her independence reject the Gabriel's proposal to marry her.  Soon she leaves the farm and moves to nearby town.  As the time passes Gabriel's farms is destroyed and he has to sell of all his assets to clear his loans and debts. Unable to do anything with his financial instability he is in search of a job and goes to a job fair being conducted in nearby town.  While returning he helps to calm a fire which breakout in a farm which was about to be destroyed.  The owner of the farmhouse who happened to be lady wanted to thank him.  To his surprise the lady was none other than Bathsheba who had inherited the property.
