A Visit From Saint Nicholas has influenced the conception of Santa Claus after 19th Century to the contemporary era. Before this poem was written, American’s ideas of Santa Claus and other Christmastide visitors varied considerably. After This poem only the contemporary Santa Claus appearance, his folk style, night visits and gifts had come to lime light. Many people are unaware that this poem only later named as Twas The Night Before Christmas and became the inevitable part of Christmas celebrations.
