Synopsis

Wanted: A Husband, is a love story written by Samuel Hopkins Adams, an American novelist remembered for his detective fiction works such as The Great American Fraud, Our Square and the People in It, The Gorgeous Hussy, and The Mystery.

A young beautiful women getting into troubles for an innocent lie she has spread about a love with a real English lord by showing his photo. Unfortunately his pretended lover is a friend of her friend. She has to make dramatic efforts to keep avoiding everyone to meet each other. The story ends up in a good note; she wins hearts of every one including her lover.
