Synopsis

The Girl on the Boat is humorous novel written by the English humorist Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse, who has written many novels, short stories, plays and poems. Originally published as a serial in an American magazine under the name of “Three men and a maid”, this novel narrates the story in the backdrop of Sailing at ocean liner in England.    

Wilhelmina "Billie" Bennett, a dog-loving maid goes sailing along with three men and a woman named Jane Hubbard.  Eustace Hignett  a poet is loved by Jane Hubbard , though he was engaged earlier tih Billie. Sam Marlowe, the cousin of Eustace also falls in love at first sight with Billie.  Another traveller who is along with them is Billie’s long time friend and her suitor Bream Mortime.  This humorous & fun filled novel ends up in a happy note for everyone except Bream Mortimer.
