Verdi: The Story of the Little Boy who Loved the Hand Organ, is a part of the children’s biography series of Child’s own book of great musicians written by Thomas Tapper. 

This book is a tiny work of biography of the Italian composer Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco Verdi, who learned the spinet at the age of seven. His great works Othello and Falstaff were written by him after a gap of 16 years. His masterpiece of Messa da Requiem was composed on account of death of compatriot Alessandro Manzoni.
