Synopsis

The Tempest is believed as the last play written by William Shakespeare, an English dramatist and considered as the greatest writer in the English language. An endless list of contributions of him to the literary world includes Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, The Tragedy of King Lear and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

The Tempest narrates the story of a magician who punished his enemies with his supernatural powers. Twelve years before the play opens up, Prospero and his 3 years old daughter Miranda has been deserted in an Island, by a plot by his jealous brother Antonio and Alonso, The King of Naples. After twelve years King Alonso is returning after attending his daughter’s marriage along with his son Ferdinand, accompanied by his brother Sebastian, Antonio, Gonzalo and Stephano. The ship is wrecked in a storm created by Prospero with his magical.

The magician with his supernatural powers creates illusions and makes his enemies to realize their mistakes. Finally he forgives every one including his brother and in the end Ferdinand falls in love with Miranda and becomes King of Naples.
