Synopsis

The Merry Wives of Windsor is a comedy by William Shakespeare. To overcome financial difficulties Sir John Falstaff devise a plan to woo wives of wealthy merchants of Windsor Mr. Ford and Mr. Page. The love letters received by both Mistresses are discussed by both of them and found identical. Understanding his intentions both plans to teach him a lesson and pretend to allow his advances towards them. Meanwhile Falstaff's intentions are leaked to the merchants while page ignores him, Ford looking to get into Falstaff to reveal his plans. Subsequent events creates embarrassing situations for Falstaff when he was called to Mistress Page house and asked to hide inside the laundry bucket and eventually humiliated at the public.
