The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova de Seingalt is an autobiography of Giacomo Casanova, an Italian adventurer whose autobiography is considered one of the authentic works which reflects 18th century European life.

His controversial life style relating him to affairs with women made him to be called “womanizer”. He wrote this autobiography during end of his life as a librarian. He confesses that all the good and evil acts done by him given him a proud feeling of freedom. A strong believer of god and his Christian faith never spoiled anything in his life. The book has been written with strict standards of chronologically written incidents of his life from his childhood to his old age.
