Synopsis

The Innocents Abroad written by Mark Twain is a travel book based on the real life travel by the author in chartered vessel Quaker City through Europe and the Holy Land.

The author states, this travel had helped him deeper understanding of not only the places he visited, also his fellow travelers aboard the cruise. Twain openly writes about his own American arrogance, his ignorance of foreign customs and even greater ignorance of his travel companions.

He also states, while back home, this travel has made great impact on his life as a person and his character changed a lot, perhaps he says while returning back he felt the companions were as if the part of his family by end of the trip.
