Soap Making Manual is book compiled from a series of articles which were published in American Perfumer and essential oils review written by E. G. Thomssen.

This book is a practical guide which explores the soap making process such as manipulation, analysis and control of the raw materials used in soap manufacturing. It is written in simple English so that anyone who is interested to know the industry can understand the soap making. Though there are chapters pertaining to the machinery used, it is only for illustrative purpose and does not provide elaborate details about the machinery, which will be beyond the scope and purpose of this book.
