Before her early death at the age of 37, she had written novels, treatises, travel literature and a book for children.  Notable work among her short career path includes The Subjection of Women, The Second Sex, The Feminine Mystique, The Creation of Patriarchy, and Gender Trouble.

Being known as best work of Wollstonecraft, A Vindication Of The Rights Of Woman argues that denial of education to women made the society to pretend as if they are inferior than Men. Written during a period of political theorists thought of education to women is not necessary, this early work of feminist philosophy demands that education to women will not only improve the life of women, rather the society itself.  She also argues women are not just a commodity in the marriage market, rather they are human beings who are instrumental in building the society, community and the nation.
